FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves irritating a general stimulation point by applying current of positive and negative polarity. Unbalance being achieved, the point is subjected to electric current action of maximum intensity at the pain sensitivity threshold. The time needed to restore the conductivity balance is measured and the maximum current consumption coefficient is calculated for each biologically active point using the time measured to determine the value of treatment current. The time of treatment is determined separately for corporal and auricular biologically active points.
