ELECTROMAGNETIC VALVE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of fittings; shut-off fittings in reversible working medium supply systems. SUBSTANCE: housing of electromagnetic valve has two seats closed by two shut-off members connected by common rod which is linked with core of drive. Upper seat forms clearance with housing where shim is laid. Two passages made in wall of housing at angle of 15 to 45 deg are used to communicate one branch pipe with housing. Rod is provided with sealing bush having widening two-stage cavity. Lower stage of larger diameter is used for stack of sealing gaskets and upper stage is used for mounting the compression spring. Each shut-off member has horizontal base changing to cylindrical section. Flexible seal is mounted on surface of shut-off member facing the seat which is secured by means of metal shaped cover plate. Cylindrical portion has cavity and thread is provided on external surface; besides that, union nut is mounted. Rod consists of three links: one central link and two peripheral links. Ends of central link are provided with widening taper recesses engageable with spherical sections of peripheral links. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 9 cl, 2 dwg
