FIELD: tools for making parts by cold plastic deformation, namely, mandrels for forming lengthwise profile on inner surface of sleeve-type part of reducing tubular blank. SUBSTANCE: mandrel includes shaped cylindrical working portion in the form of hollow cylinder whose inner surface is cone one and joined with said portion cone core that may be moved along axis of hollow cylinder and connected with it by elastic link. Core has guiding necking portion at side of its small diameter. Necking portion is joined with guiding sleeve mounted in end of hollow portion of mandrel and passing to less diameter portion rigidly supporting removable abutment. The latter is in the form of cap secured to nut arranged on mounting portion of core. EFFECT: improved design of mandrel providing it enhanced strength. 3 cl, 1 dwg
