FIELD: apparatuses for closing press molds of casting machines. SUBSTANCE: machine includes stationary and movable mounting plates for press mold, both plates are moved on slides. Plates arranged on housing of machine are designed for mounting press mold halves. Movable mounting plate placed on slide is adjustable one, it may be returned relative to stationary plate by all coordinates separately from slide. Lateral guiding rollers adjustable by means of crank and supported by housing of machine are placed on slide. There is a gap between movable mounting plate for press mold and slide. Slide and plate are movably connected one with another by means of bearing units in the form of compressed bending rods and vertical rotary trunnion moving across lengthwise axis of machine, and they are joined by bolts.
