FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices for application of coatings such as, for instance colour varnishes or chemicals, with previously specified layer thickness, besides taking into account quality parametres, thickness of layer should be maintained within the limits of narrow allowances. Device for application of coating onto moving metal tape, with previously specified thickness of layer, covers roller fixed on bearing slides for application of coating and control device fixed to bearing slides. With the help of control device, roller for application of coating with specified force of supply or in a certain mounting point is adjustably brought into working position to moving metal tape or the following roller for application of coating. In order to make it possible to apply coating as substantially more evenly and within the limits of narrower allowance fields than before, control device is arranged as compact unit. This compact unit comprises driving facility that generates force of supply and measuring devices that register supply force, besides all hydraulic control lines in driving device are installed inside compact unit.

EFFECT: accuracy of control, in particular due to saving of hydraulic pipelines length, which, in combination with accurate measurements of force, provides for faster reaction at short-term fluctuations of forces caused by rollers for application of coatings.
