FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: pressing device has pressing plate 1 positioned on bottom support 3 of shears, double- arm lever 5, and stop 14 that arrests the stroke of the pressing plate. One of the arms of lever 5 is connected with hydraulic cylinder 10. The other arm is connected with pressing plate 1 through shackle 4. The device is also provided with beam 17 pivotally connected to top support 11 of a shears. The beam has a through diametrical bore. The arm of the lever from the side of the pressing plate is additionally pivotally connected with link 13. The shank of the link passes through the bore in supporting beam 17.
