FIELD: welding. SUBSTANCE: two and more sheet blanks 1 are arranged in form of pack with clearance between blanks, and protective layer is applied to outer surfaces of pack. Pack thus assembled, is coiled tightly clearance, into multilayer roll with designed dimensions. Roll is placed vertically and charges are fitted. Then charge are initiated. After explosion welding, roll is uncoiled over protective layers into sheet. EFFECT: manufacture of multilayer sheets from thin sheet blanks, for instance, foil with high quality welded joint at minimum metal usage for rigging. 6 cl, 10 dwg
