FIELD: safety documents. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an image-containing lamellar structure manufactured by the technique of printing image on layer of high-temperature adhesive covering a transparent medium layer. Image is printed on nonflowing carbon or carbon-containing adhesive layer. Combination of transparent medium, high-temperature adhesive, and image is further joined with a carrier using thermal process to produce a lamellar carrier-transparent layer structure. The image is not destroyed in thermal joining process but keeps being clearly visible through transparent medium. Typical transparent medium is polyester film or a sheet of glass beads dispersed in adhesive. One or more additional layers may be attached to carrier to confer lamellar structure more rigidity. EFFECT: safe storage of documents ensured. 17 cl, 2 dwg
