FIELD: waste water purification. SUBSTANCE: in proposed apparatus, units with inert charge material are installed in several zones of aerated space at a distance not less than passageway width. Units are dismountable and free to displace in horizontal direction, which allows their movement along the tank length resulting in changing zone volume and distance between zones according to nature of waste to be cleaned. To improve hydrodynamic condition, units may be made of plane members spaced at 12-30 mm, whereas plane members are made of separate strips of charge material spaced at 20-30 mm.
