FIELD: heat-power engineering; construction of boiler units. SUBSTANCE: stiffening strake embracing the prismatic gas duct consists of I-beams secured to gas duct panels for their free motion at thermal expansion. Bush is secured on end of one beam; bush and ring-shaped member with holes are secured on end of other adjacent beam. Bolt with bore is passed through holes in bushes and in ring-shaped members on which two nuts are screwed; one additional nut is screwed on bore of bolt and is located inside ring-shaped member; other nut is located after bush, thus tightening the ends of beams.
