FIELD: remote initiation of explosive charges. SUBSTANCE: device for initiation by impact uses cylindrical body 3 made of inert material; secured on the end of the body is initiator 1 or initiator 1 with a briquette of secondary explosive 5 protected by cap 4 that does not come into contact with initiator, the diameter of initiators is less than the diameter of cylindrical body 3. Prior to feeding the device to the propelling installation, cap 4 is removed, and initiation of blast-hole charges of secondary explosives occurs due to the blast of initiator 1 at the instant of impact of the device with the blast-hole charge.
