FIELD: blasting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of blasting, in particular to percussive detonating devices (DD), whose design does not contain initiating explosives (IE) to increase their safety in production and operation, as well as increase resistance to various kinds of external influences. These DDs are equipped only with high-explosives (HEs) that have a much lower sensitivity to external influences compared to IEs. The device includes a firing pin located in the body on one axis, protruding relative to the end surface of the body, a detonator cap separated from the transfer charge by an inert metal barrier that is not destroyed during shock loading, and a detonator. At the same time, an aluminum foil gasket is placed between the striker and the detonator cap. The striker is made with a diameter, the value of which does not exceed the critical detonation diameter of the used high explosive. The thickness of the inert metal barrier is chosen to be less than the diameter of the transfer charge by 2.5-5.0 times, the porosity of the transfer charge is 0.27-0.33, and the diameter of the body in the area of the detonator cap exceeds the diameter of the striker by at least 2.2 times.
EFFECT: reduction of the level of impact energy required to actuate the DD with a compact design.
