FIELD: means for initiation, applicable in manufacture of safe primer detonators, electric detonators and other explosive devices required for blasting operations. SUBSTANCE: the primer detonator has a hollow body with a closed bottom accommodating in succession: an igniting component, initiating and main charge, the initiating charge is made in the form of a separate standardized component (initiating, retarded- action-initiating). The initiating component comprises a primary initiating charge that consists of a charge of a macrocrystalline high explosive of a high density and a charge of a macrocrystalline high explosive with density not exceeding 1.5 g/cu.cm, and a charge of secondary initiator, consisting of a high explosive with a density not exceeding 1.3 g/cu.cm. The secondary initiator charge is positioned in an additional shell with a hole on the side of the primary initiating charge inserted in an intermediate shell that accommodates the primary initiating charge. Macrocrystalline hexogen or octogen with the size of particles not exceeding 200 mkm. is used as the primary initiating charge. The initiating component on the side of the warhead is closed by thin-walled cup and separated from the warhead in the case of the primer detonator by a cup with a hole.
