FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in radio beacon navigation systems. Direction finder of scanning sources includes antenna with controlled spacing of two directional patterns, with input controlling this spacing and two outputs, each connected through logarithmic receiver and meter of burst maximum connected in series to corresponding inputs of subtracter, meter of burst discrepancy placed between outputs of logarithmic receivers, meter of angular speed of scanning and meter of width of burst which inputs are connected to output of logarithmic receiver, first multiplier which inputs are connected to output of meter of angular speed of scanning and output of meter of burst discrepancy, second multiplier which inputs are connected to output of meter of angular speed of scanning and output of meter of width of burst, calculator of direction finding sensitivity to which corresponding inputs outputs of multipliers, delay device, square root calculator, two dividers and indicator are connected. Indicator is connected to output of second divider which first input is connected to output of divider. Output of first divider is connected through square root calculator and delay device connected in series to first input of first divider and to proper input of calculator of direction finding sensitivity which output is connected to second inputs of dividers. Output of square root calculator and antenna input controlling value of angular spacing are interconnected. Calculator of direction finding sensitivity is fabricated in such form that realizes calculation by formula given in description of invention. Use of proposed direction finder makes it possible to increase accuracy of direction finding of sources in scattering medium due to decrease of biased estimate of bearing by exclusion of a priori uncertainty in direction finding sensitivity and due to reduction of fluctuation component of error because of adaptive maximization of direction finding sensitivity by means of returning of angular spacing of directivity patterns. EFFECT: increased accuracy of direction finding of sources in scattering medium. 1 dwg
