FIELD: radio direction finding, can be used in radio beacon navigation systems. SUBSTANCE: the phase direction finder, having two antennas, each connected to the input of the phase meter via the receiver, divider whose first input is connected to the phase meter output and the divider output is connected to the indicator, and a direction finding transconductance input terminal, additionally uses an amplitude discriminator, differentiator, source directional pattern scanning angular rate meter, second and third dividers, modulus generating device, subtracter multiplier, direction finder directional pattern width input terminal and a squarer; the output of one of the receives via series-connected amplitude discriminator and source directional pattern angular rate meter is connected to the second input of the second divider, whose first input via the differentiator is connected to the phase meter output; the output of the second divider via the modulus generating device is connected to the first input of the multiplier, whose second input via the squarer is connected to the output of the third divider. The first input of the third divider is connected to the source directional pattern width input terminal. The second input of the third divider is connected to the direction finder directional pattern width input terminal; the second input of the first divider is connected to the output of the subtracter, whose input is connected to the multiplier output, and the second input of the subtracter is connected to the direction finding transconductance input terminal.
