FIELD: autonomous power supplies, devices which use waste heat. SUBSTANCE: device has sealed housing which is separated by ion-exchange membrane into two chambers which are filled with two-atom gas which is dissociated into single-atom gas under heating. Both sides of membrane are connected to gas-penetrable electrodes with terminals. One chamber has heat pumping system. Another one has heat removal system. Membrane is made from material of electrolyte with ion conductance with respect to dissociated atom gas. Two-atom gas should provide low dissociation threshold, for example, halogens such as iodine, fluorine, chlorine, bromine. EFFECT: increased efficiency. 4 cl, 1 dwg
