FIELD: vibration engineering. SUBSTANCE: two identical conducting spiral springs 2 are placed in two parallel air gaps of magnetic system 3 with opposing flux densities and rigidly fixed on common through shaft 4 free to perform torsional vibrations. Springs 2 suffer opposing torques ob one end and are rigidly fixed on other end to case 1. Power leads of each spiral 3 are connected through half-wave rectifier so that each spiral 3, when connected to AC power supply, passes only one half-cycle of current and operates for twisting.
