FIELD: vibration engineering; electromechanical clock motor. SUBSTANCE: conducting spiral spring 3 is wound around transducer magnetic core 1; its internal end 4 is fixed to case 1 and external end 5 is free to vibrate. Ends 4, 5 of spiral spring 3 are electrically shorted out. With AC pulse passed through winding 2, AC magnetic flux built up in magnetic core 1 induces AC current in short-circuited spring 3. Interacting currents flowing through turns of spring 3 cause its twisting and untwisting. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
