FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: needle comprises arcuate rod 1 with sharp tip 2 and with support-providing clamping eyelet 3, axial ends 4 and 5 of which are oriented with respect to rod 1 axle and formed as additional ligature-providing clips. Convex side of rod 1 has surface 7 adapted to support needle holder. Rod tip point 2 is disposed on arc having radius 150 to 250 mm. Outer surface of eyelet 3 is made in form of at least three intermatching radial portions. Tip point 2 is formed as residual cutting surface. Surface 7 for supporting needle holder is flat, and rod 1 is made of wire having round cross-section. EFFECT: convenient and reliable surgical instrument. 4 cl, 1 dwg
