FIELD: mechanical engineering; road vehicles; diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: fuel system of diesel engine has cam-type fuel injection hydraulic pump 1, hydraulic accumulator 2, pressure booster, fuel nozzle 10, check valves 7, 8, make-up unit 11 and electronic control unit 13. To improve characteristics of injection, accuracy of fuel metering by means of volume control at separate control of injection advance angle, injection pressure and cyclic delivery, two diaphragm units 14, 15 are introduced into fuel system. Each unit has series. working, control and compensating spaces 16, 17 and 18, respectively, separated by diaphragms with perforated stops, medium separator 19 with two spaces, three variable-volume chambers 20, 21, 22 and three electrically controlled drives 23, 24, 25 whose outputs are mechanically connected with volume reducers of corresponding variable-volume chambers. Invention provides description of hydraulic accumulator, make-up of deferment design versions and design of electrically control drive and pressure booster.
