FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: method to control fuel supply includes operations of mechanical needle movement into the upper extreme position during injection and supply of fuel under a needle and holes for injection, cut-off of fuel supply as spring force and pressure of fuel above the needle is exceeded, also above the fuel pressure under the needle, and movement of the needle to a seat, variation of injection duration. At least one preliminary injection is implemented before at least one main injection and at least one injection after at least one main injection. On each preliminary injection and on each injection after the main one, the nozzle needle is moved upwards mechanically, simultaneously the needle of the mechanical valve is moved upwards with a conical stop in a channel connecting the chamber above the needle and a hydraulic accumulator of low pressure, and fuel is drained from the chamber above the needle into the hydraulic accumulator of low pressure for the time of switching set during injection with the help of cams with microprofiles of low height interacting with the plate. The device for control of fuel supply comprises a nozzle with a spring-loaded needle with a mechanical drive, a movement multiplier, a mechanical controller of injection duration, a sprayer with one level of holes, a fuel pump of high pressure, a hydraulic accumulator of high pressure, connected hydraulically with the above-needle and under-needle chambers of the nozzle. The device is equipped with a hydraulic accumulator of low pressure, a mechanical valve with a needle with the conical surface, a quick-acting reversible mechanical drive.

EFFECT: invention improves dynamics of fuel supply, increases indicator efficiency factor, realises multi-injection and duration-controlled injections by means of simple mechanical devices.
