FIELD: preparation of oil fuels for burning them in diesel engines in form of water-oil emulsions. SUBSTANCE: innovation of proposed method consists in preliminary preheating the water-oil emulsion which is then fed to high- pressure pump of diesel engine before injector and then to high-pressure pipe line wherefrom it is injected into combustion chamber. Water-oil emulsion is preheated in high-pressure pipe line to temperature below water vaporization temperature, for example 300 to 320 C at increased residual pressure between high-pressure pump and injector not below 10 MPa in period between injections. Injection of water-oil emulsion into compression chamber is effected at pressure of no less than 70 MPa, provided stable residual pressure is maintained. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
