FIELD: fuel production. SUBSTANCE: crude oil is subjected to electrodesalting in electrical dehydrogenator with a system of electrodes positioned in two levels spaced with height gradient equal to 0.05-0.1 of conditional piece of a path conterminous with average vector of moving of stream of crude oil in the zone of greatest middle. Then crude oil flow is directed into distillation column with a packet of charges and two branch pipes tangentially arranged within column shell. The column is provided with inner cylindrical flow deflector whose diameter relates to shell diameter in the feed zone as (0.59-0.75): 1. Height range of stream inlet is 0.21-0.28 of column height from the lowest part of bottom. Kerosene fraction is taken off within the temperature range 140-240 C from the height range equal to 0.58-0.81 of column height from its lowest part. Taken off kerosene fraction is divided into three streams, the third one combined with 33-35% of kerosene fraction remaining after secondary distillation of gasoline being fed into hydrofining process. Product of the latter process is supplemented with 0.007-0.008 wt.-% of concentrate of mixture of naphtene acid and ionol additives. Diesel fraction is entered into leaching unit, into which primary-distillation kerosene fraction is also directed. Commercial diesel fuel is prepared by compounding diesel fraction from leaching unit with fractions taken off from various process steps. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process. 64 cl, 6 dwg, 1 tbl
