FIELD: petroleum processing; propellants. SUBSTANCE: crude oil is subjected to electrical desalting and dehydration, atmospheric and atmospheric vacuum distillation to give kerosene fraction, which is hydrofined. When conducting process, heat carrier is steam that is partially produced by combustion of associated gas and/or combustible process gas releasing thermal petroleum processing and/or and/or in thermodestructive processing of petroleum and/or intermediate products, which steam is fed into process network at 50-70 C and pressure 3-5 kg/sq.cm. 60-85% of gas is burned in process furnaces and 15-40% in steam generator to form condensate. The latter, supplemented by preheated chemically purified water, is used in steam generator. EFFECT: reduced power consumption, and increased yield of product per 1 unit weight of fuel, and improved quality of product. 23 cl, 1 tbl
