FIELD: non- ferrous metallurgy, namely production of aluminium by electrolysis in cryolite - alumina melts. SUBSTANCE: anode device includes new anode framework and ventilation ducts passing along perimeter of upper frame of metallic structure and embracing anode framework. It allows to reliably isolate over anode space against penetration of alumina dust onto carbon anode and enhance quality of anode, to lower outburst to environment due to organized and rated system for collecting and removing gases with efficiency 95-97%. Such effect is achieved by arranging upper edge of anode framework not lower than low band of frame of metallic structure. Ventilation ducts pass along perimeter of frame and embrace anode framework.
