FIELD: production of aluminum by electrolysis in cryolite-alumina melts. SUBSTANCE: technical objective of invention consists in increase of effects of mobile ferromagnetic masses on magnetic field of electrolizer and in considerable improvement of its magnetohydrodynamic characteristics which results in 3.0-4.0% growth of current output. This is achieved by attachment of anode enclosure and lifting mechanisms of anode unit to immobile bearing structures and by connection of packages of buses of anode bus arrangement to lifting mechanisms. EFFECT: improved magnetohydrodynamic characteristics and increase in current output. 3 dwg
