FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: device has rocker one arm of which rests on valve stem and other arm, furnished with funnel, thrusts against ball head of hydraulic compensator. The latter has housing with hydraulic space replenished with oil from lubrication system, plunger with piston provided with axial oil channels, and check valve. Plunger is made in form of rod resting on piston through flexible gasket. Shutoff member of check valve is placed in piston oil channel for limited vertical displacement under action of gravity or pressure differential. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
