FIELD: mechanical engineering; valve timing mechanisms of internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed hydraulic tappet has body in form of hollow cylinder closed at one end by bottom in contact through outer surface with control cam of camshaft. Body accommodates guide bushing forming ring-shaped oil reservoir with body bottom. Guide bushing accommodates hydraulic compensator in form of cap and piston limiting high-pressure chamber filled with oil and containing check valve. Ring-shaped oil reservoir has filtering device made in form of thin-walled coaxial bushing with outer profiled groove and radially directed through channels and filtering gauze upset over contour of groove by cylindrically shell with perforated through holes.
EFFECT: improved reliability and serviceability of hydraulic tappet at contamination of oil.
