FIELD: firing kiln electric drive. SUBSTANCE: electric drive uses torque transducer 16 and rotational speed transducer 17, adder 20, rectifier 21, make interlocking contact 22 of the line contactor, capacitor 23 and auxiliary relay 24. Introduction of the above components provides for dynamic braking both in normal and emergency conditions associated with fading-out of supply voltage; firing kiln gets shut down without any switching after motor 1 is switched off.
