FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: preparation containing iodine, potassium (or sodium) iodide, triethylene glycol has additionally hydrochloric acid, potassium (sodium) iodate or potassium (sodium) iodate at the following ratio of components, wt.-%: iodine 2.0-4.5; potassium iodide 0.7-0.9; potassium iodate or potassium iodate 1.3-1.6; hydrochloric acid 8-9, and triethylene glycol - the rest. Preparation can be used for aerosol treatment and prophylaxis of respiratory sickness in poultry and agriculture animals. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment and prophylaxis. 1 tbl
