FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: method of development of floating oil pool includes isolation operations in producing wells, injection of working agent through injection well, and oil withdrawal through producing wells. Isolation in oil producing wells is carried out by injection at the level of water-oil contact of fresh water with addition of surfactant and isolating material with subsequent holding. Isolating material is used in form of material with no affinity to oil and solidifying in contact with formation mineralized water. Its density exceeds the density of oil. Isolating material is injected by fringes. In so doing, composition from the first to the last fringes is selected such as to ensure simultaneous starting of material gelling in formation. Volumes of fresh water and isolating material relates as 1:(3-5), and volume of injected fringes of isolating material is calculated by the formula given in the invention description. EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation of oil-saturated and water- saturated zones of formation due to the deeper penetration into formation of isolating material to increase waterless period of operation of producing wells and increased oil recovery from pool.
