FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: method can be used in development of deposits with high-paraffinized and high-viscous oil. Reduced oil production cost is achieved due to lower cost of power spent for heating injected water. Method implies pumping of water through injection wells and withdrawing oil from producing wells. Prior to pumping water, ensured is no water inflow from injection wells into bottom-hole zone of oil bed and back, well is filled with water, water heating temperature in injection wells is kept under control, technological delay is effected until preset water temperature at well bottom-hole is achieved. Determined is intensity of pumping water into injection wells depending on thermo-physical properties of surrounding rocks needed for heating water to preset temperature during its movement along well from well head to bottom-hole. Ensured is water delivery from injection wells to bottom-hole zone of oil bed. Water is pumped into injection wells at flow rate not exceeding predetermined pumping intensity so as to create fringe of heated water in required volume in down-hole zone of oil bed.
