FIELD: transport engineering, instrumentation; protection of drivers from blinding by light of outside sources. SUBSTANCE: use is made of system of protective movable polarized filters and light sources with controlled planes of polarization. System is synchronized so that in operating conditions, planes of polarization of protective filters and vehicle light sources are coplanar and orthogonal to plane of polarization of outside light sources. Light protection device has automatic control system. Synchronization of operation is provided by polarized setters-synchronizers installed in required places on road.
