FIELD: means for detention of transport vehicles. SUBSTANCE: method of detention of transport vehicle consists in throwing of a pricker and action on the vehicle inner tube by it; additionally thrown are several prickers, the prickers are positioned on the road surface before the moving vehicle; action on the inner tubes is effected when the vehicle runs on the pricker. The device for detention of transport vehicle uses guide pipe 1, whose cavity accommodates initiator 2, throwing device 3 and the pricker. The device is furnished with additional prickers 6 successively connected by flexible coupling 7. The head pricker may be furnished with an aerodynamically streamlined cover, and the last pricker is coupled with an aerodynamic break. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 1 dwg
