FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing seeds to air heat flux at temperature of 60-90 C; measuring bioelectric current by electrodes, attached to seed, in 3 min from the moment of heat flux action. Bioelectric current is measured by detecting bioelectric potential difference and this difference is amplified and converted into amplitude-frequency characteristic of bioelectric current spectral intensity. High-frequency components of amplitude-frequency characteristic exceeding 2,000 Hz are filtered out; amplitude-frequency characteristic is decomposed within the range of 0-2,000 Hz in flicker spectrum; dependence of amplitude-frequency characteristic parameters on time is determined and decoded by plotting flicker spectrogram described by the expression recited in Specification. Seed vitality is judged by weight-energy speed variation of spatial-time dissipating seed structures at frequency variations. EFFECT: increased efficiency in determining optimum conditions for presowing biostimulation of seed material and provision for obtaining of precise results. 5 cl, 7 dwg
