FIELD: measurement technology, electronics, radio engineering, aids for nondestructive testing of physico-chemical properties of material objects, examination of electron microstructures of materials, structures, parts, units of technical systems, biological systems and living organisms. SUBSTANCE: method consists in letting constant current pass through examined object, in measurement of difference of electric potentials between two points within specified time interval and in its presentation in the form of power density spectrum of noise of difference of electric potentials which parameters are used to evaluate stability of structure of object. Power density spectrum is recorded in range of low frequencies up to frequency separating flicker noise and white noise. Families of parallel straight lines are obtained in recorded spectrum by drawing each straight line through maximal number of points of values of power density spectrum of noise. Boundaries of frequency intervals corresponding to separate families of parallel straight lines are found by points of crossing of obtained families of parallel straight lines. Stability of structure of object is evaluated jointly by values of obtained boundaries of frequency intervals and by inclination angle of family of parallel straight lines of corresponding frequency interval. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of method by analysis of amplitude-frequency characteristics of material objects in region of flicker noise and by theoretical interpretation of obtained results as stationary process determined by time of day. 3 cl, 3 dwg
