FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: catalyst for dehydrogenation of alkylaromatic hydrocarbons comprises iron oxide, zirconium dioxide, potassium carbonate, rubidium oxide or cesium oxide, molybdenum oxide, cerium oxide, chromium oxide, lanthanum oxide and/or neodymium oxide, portland cement, silicon oxide and magnesium oxide and/or calcium oxide, the ratio of components being as follows: 0.5-2.5 zirconium dioxide; 13.0-25.0 potassium carbonate; 0.05-5.0 rubidium oxide or cesium oxide; 0.5-5.0 molybdenum oxide; 1.0-3.0 cerium oxide; 0.5-5.0 chromium oxide; 0.05-1.0 lanthanum oxide and/or neodymium oxide; 0.5-5.0 silicon oxide; 0.5- 10.0 magnesium oxide and/or calcium oxide; the iron oxide balance. EFFECT: higher activity and improved selectivity of the catalyst.
