FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of catalysts for dehydrogenation of alkyl aromatic hydrocarbons. Catalyst contains potassium oxide in amount of 8-22 wt.%, magnesium and/or calcium oxides – 0.5-10 wt.%, molybdenum oxide – 0.5-5 wt.%, portland cement – 2-12 wt.%, zirconium oxide – 0.08-0.8 wt.%, caesium and/or rubidium oxides – 0.05-5 wt.% and iron oxide – balance.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a catalyst for dehydrogenation of alkyl aromatic hydrocarbons, having high catalytic activity, thermal stability and extended service life.
