FIELD: hovering craft; design of flying vehicles at enhanced lift-to-drag. SUBSTANCE: flying vehicle has casing with wing provided with longitudinal and transversal load-bearing members, power plant and tail unit; wing is provided with system of passages located between longitudinal load-bearing members and running from lower surface of wing to its upper surface; each passage is provided with door mounted movable for control of area of passage outlet section; each passage is narrowing from lower surface of wing to its upper surface; outlet hole is located after its inlet hole in way of flight. Method of enhancing the lift-to-drag ratio consists in creating increased pressure between wing of flying vehicle and supporting surface in course of flight; part of air is bled to upper surface of wing in way of its trailing edge; air is bled from area of increased pressure under wing of vehicle when speed of flight exceeds lift-off speed; before bleeding this part of air, it is accelerated to speed exceeding velocity of incoming flow of air.
