FIELD: production of polyamides and chloroprene rubber. SUBSTANCE: 3,4-dichlorobutene-1 is prepared by isomerization of 1,4-dichlorobutene-2 at elevated temperature under continuous conditions in the presence of copper (I) complex with organic sulfide of formula: R2S wherein R is C1-C9-alkyl, or with triphenyl phosphine, or with tertiary amine of formula: wherein R′ is C2-C9-alkyl at copper chloride to organic component molar ratio of 1: 0.7-3.5. The preferred process embodiment is carried out in gas phase in flow reactor at 120-150 C. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process. 2 cl
