FIELD: organic synthesis, particularly, synthesis of rubbers. SUBSTANCE: C4 chlorohydrocarbons are precursors of chlorodiene monomers for synthesis of rubbers. Mixture comprises main components such as 3,4- dichlorobutene-1, 1,4-dichlorobutene-1, tri- and tetra- chlorobutanes. Continuous liquid phase chlorination is carried out by conducting reaction on boiling reaction mixture in ethyl chloride containing 6-9 wt % of butadiene chlorination products. Process is carried out either without catalysts or using nitrogen-containing compounds as catalyst at 14-30 C at butadiene to chlorine ratio of 1.2-3: 1. Catalyst is prepared by adding trialkyl amine dissolved in ethyl chloride to butadiene chlorination products previously or directly during reaction process. EFFECT: simplified technology and increased yield of the desired products. 3 cl, 6 ex
