FIELD: fuel conditioning. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conditioning fuels in field condition and at refueling stations. Method consists in preparing concentrate of multifunctional additive composed of paraffin hydrocarbons and additive in the first section of tank, dosing additive concentrate into low-grade diesel fuel, circulating diesel fuel through the second section of tank, measuring kinematic viscosity and density of mix in the second section of tank, calculating cetane number of mix and comparing it with that of standard fuel when working on engine with standard fuel, adjusting feed of additive concentrate on mixer entry taking into account cetane number of commercial mix when working on engine with this mix, comparing this cetane number with that of standard mix, and adjusting feed of low-grade diesel fuel on mixer entry taking into account fullness of fuel combustion.
