METHOD OF AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLING PROCESS OF MIXING BOILER FUELS WITH SHIP MAZUTS IN MIXING MODULE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: petroleum products processing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of commercial petroleum products in petroleum processing and petrochemical industry and can be used at commodity-feedstock production enterprises, at oil-storage depots, and at mixer-tankers for mixing commercial mazuts (boiler and process fuels, ship mazuts) on stationary installations and mobile mixing modules. Method consists in preparing basic mazut from mixture of light components and heavy component, mixing it with additive, and controlling their intakes. A part of commercial mazut is recycled in the course of its preparation with deviation to heavy component by means of (i) regulating intake of light components' mixture using pressure drop on the first thermostat and taking into account linear velocity of recycled part of mazut passing through the second thermostat and correcting heavy component intake; (ii) regulating intake of heavy component in dependence on linear velocity (flowability) in the second thermostat taking into account intake of depressor additive and pressure drop on the first thermostat; and (iii) regulating intake of depressor additive in dependence on temperature of mazut in the second thermostat taking into account linear velocity of commercial mazut in the second thermostat and intake of light components.
