FIELD: pipe line transportation; electrical sectionalization of pipe lines; electrochemical corrosion protection. SUBSTANCE: electrically insulating flanged joint includes two flanges with standard holes for fasteners interconnected by means of insert provided with two-sided insulated coats but for end faces which are in contact with insulating sealing gaskets. Insert is provided with insulating inner plastic bushes fitted under each fastener and two gasket laid over ends of insert slightly overlapping its external clearance. Insert is secured on pipe line by means of standard. Two casings whose all surfaces are electrically insulated are fitted on projections of flanges and insert to ensure reliable operation of insert under adverse conditions. After final assembly, all surfaces are coated with bitumen. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 2 dwg
