FIELD: pipe line engineering. SUBSTANCE: pipe line is separated into portions by insulating inserts. The assembly comprises an insulating insert interposed between flanges and made up as thick-walled steel bushing provided with a projection on the intermediate portion. The insert provided with openings the number of which is twice the number of tightening bolts. The free openings receive insulating bushings. From outside the insert is coated with a layer of insulating ceramics. The end faces are provided with insulating spacers.
