FISHING LINE LAYER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: amateur and sports fishing. SUBSTANCE: fishing line layer has housing, collecting member with supports for laying the fishing line, rotation drive mechanism with handle and reduction gear and brake. Line collecting member has base rigidly coupled with bushing installed on drive gear axle and inclined relative to axis of rocking and at least one additional support placed on base symmetrically relative to the main supports provided with inclined projections on end. Housing has drive handle rotation noise damping limiters in preset sector. Brake is made in form of rod with pressure member on its end coupled with spiral spring. This provides tension of fishing line and it tilting at angle to base of main supports. Movement of drive handle in sector of ± 45^° is converted by reduction gear into rocking movement of base with supports within about ± 360^° which makes it possible to lay fishing line in form of figure 8 with displaced center owing to tension of fishing line and its inclination relative to plane of base and also owing to inclined profile of upper planes of main supports.
