EAR RING WIRE LOCK Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: jewelry. SUBSTANCE: ear ring wire lock has lock member rigidly attached with its one end on ear ring end, triangular wire loop fixed on ear ring end opposed to end where lock member is fixed. Wire loop may be moved in radial direction. Loop ends are interconnected. Wire loop has L-shaped profile with rounded corner at apex end. Free end of lock member is positioned within triangular loop in offset relation with respect to its axis of symmetry and abuts against side surface of ring, which defines loop ends with its connected portion. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
