LONG-CUT MATERIAL BUNDLE FASTENING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: material handling and packing; assortment handling cranes-manipulators and trailer trains. SUBSTANCE: device for fastening bundles of long-cut materials on bunks of vehicle load platform has flexible link with chain extension and lock. Flexible link is made in the form of band with buckle provided with hole for connecting chain extension and -shaped catch bent in longitudinal direction and mechanically coupled with flat lock welded to one of side posts of bunk. Buckle and catch are secured on ends of band by means of cover plates and clamping bolts with nuts. Lock of device is made in the form of slider-crank gate with rock-over lever rigidly secured on other post of bunk and engaging with links of extension chain by means of hook grip. Unit of coupling of flexible link with flat lock is provided with safeguard member. Special holders are provided for placing and fixing the flexible link with chain extension in travelling position. Lock hook grip is fixed in travelling position by connecting the hook with ring hinge suspended from bracket directly above hook. Bracket is welded to bunk post.
