FIELD: medical equipment, in particular, device for surgical treatment of distortions of the vertebral column. SUBSTANCE: device for surgical treatment of scoliosis uses flexible plates 1 with holes at the ends; the novelty in the device is the provision of attachment blocks in the form of two hooks 4 and stud 2 with an extended groove connected by means of threaded posts of the hooks passing through the groove and fixed by nuts 3; the attachment blocks are connected to the plates through holes in the plates, they form a rigid fixed joint; attachment blocks, installed on which through studs are shackles and/or clamps engageable with the plates, form movable joints. At heavier distortions of the vertebral column two plates with a ratchet-and-pawl gear are added to the device with the aid of shackles. EFFECT: creation of derotational force and stage-by-stage correction of the vertebral column by means of dosed forecast force of 1-3 hooks. 2 cl, 6 dwg, 2 tbl
