FIELD: surgical equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of kyphotic and scoliotic deformations of backbone. Apparatus has a bar with holes on its ends, upper and lower backbone attachment fittings in the form of combs with legs installed on bar ends, the combs being joined in pairs by aid of pins and nuts located on legs. Pin of upper attachment fitting is joined with upper bar end through cap screw installed in hole of bar and having hole for pin and nut. Pin of lower attachment fitting is placed in hole of lower bar end by aid of nuts. Bar is made in the form of plate with cut on its lower end, casing with shaped aperture, and spring, plate end and spring being installed in casing such as to allow the spring to be placed in plate cut.
